The archive of the Glass Museum is an important contact point for anyone interested in and researching glass and regional history. It contains the estates and (picture) archives of researchers such as Josef Blau, Ingeborg Seyfert, Alfons Hannes and Ulrich Winkler. Josef Blau focussed on the folklore and local history of the Bohemian Forest. The estate of Alfons Hannes covers all areas relating to glass with documents and photos. Ingeborg Seyfert conducted intensive research into the history of glass, forests and forestry in the region as well as many other historical topics. Ulrich Winkler focussed primarily on the history of the Lamer Winkel.
