My job as a glassworks ghost is to keep the glassmakers on their toes. I don't want them to get bored! You can recognise me by my eye-catching fiery red hair, so watch out, maybe we'll see each other again soon!

Our new special exhibition opened last weekend and runs until 27 July 2025! It is accompanied by a comprehensive catalogue with illustrations and descriptions of over 330 exhibits as well as exciting introductory texts on special forms and groups.

Our object of the month brings festive splendour to the pre-Christmas period: a charming carafe with matching beaker, made from fine ruby glass. The pieces originate from Bohemia and were decorated with ornate enamel painting around 1850 - an impressive testimony to historical craftsmanship.
The vibrant red colour of the ruby glass and the filigree decorations are reminiscent of the magic of winter days gone by and invite you to enjoy the special atmosphere of the Advent season.
