Man
Glass has also been produced by machine since the end of the 19th century. The fully automatic glass-blowing machine is called the Iron Man. It produces drinking glasses and packaging glass such as bottles and jam jars super-fast and in large quantities. This mass-produced glass is therefore also much cheaper than handmade glass.
