The Frauenau Glass Museum houses an extensive specialised library on the subject of glass. The contents cover a wide range of topics from glass art and glass technology to glass from different countries. This is represented in around 4,000 books and 200 magazines. One particular rarity, for example, is the almost complete edition of the Bayerische Wald-Zeitung from 1887 to 1968.

The glass library is constantly being expanded with new additions and is connected to the Bavarian Library Network (BVB). Interlibrary loans are possible. Below you will find access to the Online catalogue.
