„The members of the North Rhine-Westphalia Glass Artists“ Association (Glaskünstlervereinigung Nordrhein-Westfalen e.V.) want to be “visible”. The Frauenau Glass Museum is therefore presenting a special exhibition featuring 28 artists from North Rhine-Westphalia, offering a fascinating insight into the diversity of contemporary glass art. The exhibition showcases works that impressively explore the extraordinary creative and technical possibilities of glass as a material. The exhibits range from delicate objects to expressive sculptures. They bear witness to the highest level of craftsmanship, as well as great artistic creativity and innovative spirit. The exhibition highlights just how versatile glass can be as an artistic medium and invites visitors to discover new perspectives on material, form, light and colour.
