The „Association of Friends of the Frauenau Glass Museum and the Gläsernen Gärten e.V.“ was originally founded as a support association for the Frauenau Glass Museum. In 2013, the association’s remit was extended to include support for the Gläsernen Gärten. The association supports the museum, for example, with exhibitions or by facilitating the acquisition of new works of art. With regard to the Gläserne Gärten, the association was responsible, for instance – with funding from the ILE National Park Communities – for the installation of an artistically designed glass pavilion. The association’s chairman is Udo Dönch from Lohr am Main. Andreas Schneck holds the post of vice-chairman.
