The Frauenau Glass Museum can be reached by car and train. It is located in the centre of Frauenau, directly on the state road 2132, which runs through the village and leads to Spiegelau and Zwiesel. The museum is just 300 metres from Frauenau railway station and is therefore easy to reach from Zwiesel and Grafenau by train, which runs every hour. The train journey is even free with a guest card.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Frauenau Glass Museum has been in existence since 1975 and the new building was opened in 2005.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Glassworks tours are organised in the Eisch glassworks<\/a><\/span>\u00a0offered in Frauenau. At Zwiesel crystal glass<\/a><\/span>\u00a0there is a factory tour every day (weekdays only) at 11 am. Also in the Schmid Glass Manufactory<\/a><\/span>\u00a0in Lindberg you can see how glass objects are created. At Broken glass K\u00f6ck<\/a><\/span> In Riedlh\u00fctte, work is also still being carried out on the glass furnace. In the glass village Weinfurtner<\/a> in Arnbruck and at Joska<\/a> In Bodenmais you can also look over the shoulders of glassmakers and other glass craftsmen.
